This limited edition sweater has been designed exclusively for Banjo & Matilda by singer/actress Natalie Imbruglia.
$100 from each sweater is donated to her chosen charity, the End Fistula Campaign, which is a compelling women’s rights issue that is prevalent in many poor countries of the world. To find out more go to: www.endfistula.org
Taking inspiration from the spiritual journey of her life, and the many opportunities she has been given, Natalie celebrates this by creating the ‘Lucky’ sweater.
Featuring a 4-leaf clover intarsia on the back, and the word ‘Lucky’ on the wrist cuff of the left hand sleeve (to mark the actual 4-leaf clover tattoo that she has on the inside of her wrist), the sweater has gorgeous detailing such as a hand-plaited drawstring through the hood, and extra length in the bodice for warmth and comfort.
A gorgeous sweater that’s perfect for weekends. Nice and long in the bodice to keep you cosy in the cold, it’s perfect with a pair of leggings or jeans.
Banjo & Matilda Australia was launched in May 2008 by Belynda Macpherson. With its headquarters located at Bondi Beach, the Aussie lifestyle of sun, sand and the surf resonates innately with the label and its philosophy of low maintenance style and comfort – but always in luxe cashmere.
With childhood memories of ballet classes and costume-making with her mother, Belynda knitted her own leg warmers and ballet-wraps as a child and grew up with a love of creating her own knitted styles.
Her passion for ultra-soft cashmere staples, pairing simplicity with cool sophistication has rapidly gained loyal customers worldwide – positioning the label as the ‘go-to’ for contemporary cashmere products.
Always with the customer in mind, Banjo & Matilda conveniently ship their cashmere worldwide from their on-line store, delivering it promptly and in exclusive custom-made brown boxes to their delighted customers’ doorsteps and offices.
Currently offering womenswear, Banjo & Matilda have plans for Mens, Baby and Home collections in the near future.
“I design for real life and a love of absolute comfort and longevity. Simplicity with a generous serve of discreet luxury makes me happy, and I am guessing/hoping/knowing you’ll love it too.” Belynda Macpherson
